Please find resources below to break down phonics into it's basic elements such as consonants, short and long vowels, blends, digraphs, etc. plus word families.
PHONICS is defined as a method of teaching people to read by correlating sounds with letters or groups of letters. "It is the link between what we say, what we read, and what we write". Below you will find some programs that are not listed above such as PhonicTalk.com and Fundations. PhonicTalk.com has a series of charts available on the internet, a clear explanation of what is phonics, and resources. Fundations is a program offered by Wilson Language Training.
